1. Actual supported OS versions.

Now Beezy support iPhone OS 2.1 and iPod touch 1st and 2nd generation.

2. Will updates be free?

Yes, all Beezy updates will be free for our customers. We plan to release bugfix updates as soon as it is possible and to release improvement updates from time to time. We plan to add fulltext search, horizontal layout, custom folder icons, sessions merging and some another tasty features. The added languages updates also will be free.

At the same time we are working on a professional version that includes a task management and some another great features. Pro-version should be available for Beezy customers for a regular pay.

3. I’ve installed an update but do not see any changes.

Occasionally the AppStore wrongly announces that a new update is available although it is not yet the case. Sometimes it happens when you update your iPhone through both 3G and Wi-Fi networks during one day. In this case the same version that you had before, will be downloaded and installed.

4. Beezy doesn’t start anymore.

Yes, sometimes (very rarely) it happened apparently as a result of iPhone OS bad behaviour. Restart your iPhone twice by switching it completely off and on again. For restart iPhone press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then drag the slider.

5. I’ve just purchased Beezy but the application doesn’t start on my iPhone/iPod touch.

Yes, sometimes it happened apparently as a result of iPhone OS bad behaviour. Restart your iPhone twice by switching it completely off and on again. For restart iPhone press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then drag the slider. If it doesn’t work yet and you haven’t created any important images or notes, try to re-install Beezy.

6. How to re-install Beezy?

Please note that after re-installing the application all your folders, records including images and notes will be LOST.

6.1. Remove Beezy from your iTunes Library and iPhone/iPod Touch.

The simplest way to do it is like that. Connect your iPhone/iPod touch with your computer, open iTunes, choose your device and go to Application section. Uncheck Beezy in applications list and sync your device (press Apply button).

6.2. Make sure you are signed in with the same account used for the original purchase. Locate Beezy on the AppStore and click the “Buy app” button or tap the price on the device. A dialog will appear: “You have already purchased this item. To download it again for free, select OK.” Click OK to continue with the downloading. (Depending on your iTunes settings, you might get this message first: “Are you sure you want to buy and download the Application Beezy?”)

7. Can I lose my data?

iPhone OS is too young that to guarantee the absence of some errors. Unfortunately, you could really lose your data (Beezy’s folders, images, notes) during installation an update. Although no one of customers reported us about such a case yet we cannot rule completely out the possibility of it. Though iTunes backs up your data automatically every time you connect your iPhone to your computer, we propose to send all important data for yourself by email. Fully backup through Wi-Fi should be available in the nearest (free) updates, we are working on it.

Language questions

8. Actual supported languages.

Beezy is available in English only now.

9. Will be added my language in some next releases?

Yes, Beezy is made by an international team and it is made for worldwide usage. We plan to add some European languages support in nearest (free) updates. If you want to help us to translate Beezy’s interface and manual into your language, please send us an email from Support page. We would be happy to contact with you.

10. The wrong language is displayed.

Which languages will be used for the interface, depends on your iPhone’s language settings. Sometimes there is a bug in the iPhone OS. In some cases the iPhone picks the wrong language. To fix this, change your iPhone’s language settings to another language. Then change it back to your preferred language. You can switch languages in the “Settings” application.

Using Beezy

11. Icon “Add folder” is inactive. Why I cannot to create a new subfolder?

Really, you can not to create a subfolder in folder that contains recorded sessions already. It is not a bug, it is a feature ;-) Folders need for navigation only and probably, they will be replaced by tags in future releases.

12. How can I make a pause instead full stop?

No idea at the moment. We make sure that human cannot quickly and often to switch between two tasks of the same importance.
So, if you want to make a pause, you must to stop current timer and/or start a new one, if you need.
If we will receive a wide request on this topic we would add this opportunity, of course.

13. I cannot to remove Unsorted folder.

It is right, Beezy really has three special everpresent (non-removable) folders, Unsorted, Archive and Trash. But you can easy hide any from two last and you can rename Unsorted folder into any desired name. Tap Settings application (icon with gears on your iPhone home screen) and choose Beezy section.

14. I do not need Archive and Trash folders. Why cannot I to remove them?

Yes, you are right, you cannot to remove these folders but you can hide them. Please, tap application Settings (icon with gears) and choose Beezy section.

15. How Beezy is round time meanings, up or down?

Beezy round time in this way:
9 min 01 sec ≈ 9 min
9 min 29 sec ≈ 9 min
9 min 30 sec ≈ 10 min etc.

16. The Before picture is smaller than After picture on the black background view. I want to swap it, is it possible?

Yes, we also want to do it sometime. Now it’s on the top of our wish-list.

17. I wouldn’t like to use Trash, can I delete some my data forever?

Tap application Settings (icon with gears) and choose Beezy section. Then switch the control “Move to Trash” to OFF. From this time all data you delete will be deleted immediately, without using Trash.

18. What’s about multiple active stopwatches?

Probably, this feature will be available in future Beezy Pro-version (sold separately).
